A Gentle Spring Refresh – With Grace, Gratitude, and Creativity

         As I sit with a warm cup of coffee this morning, snow gently falling outside my window, I wanted to take a moment to write to you. Nothing fancy—just a little note from my heart as we move into spring. My days are full, often messy, always layered with meaning. I'm a woman wearing many hats: working full time, running a creative business, filling orders, designing products, and dreaming big dreams for Steel Roots Market… all while trying to find time to make a few Easter gifts for loved ones and tidy up corners of my home.            

 Sometimes I feel like I’m just trying to keep up. Between cutting and sanding surfaces on my laser, preparing bundles, writing listings, and carving out time to film creative videos, it can be a lot. I do every part of Steel Roots Market myself—and though I love it deeply, I get overwhelmed too.

I know many of you are in your own season of busy. Maybe you're working a job, managing a family, chasing a dream… or simply trying to make it through the day. And I want you to know this: you’re not alone, and it’s okay to be where you are.

I’ve learned to accept that I can’t do it all. I won’t always get it “right.” But I can still show up, make something beautiful, and bring a little more joy into the world—starting with my own home, one small task at a time.       

        This weekend, I’m slowing down. I’m going to rest, create, clean out a few little corners, and maybe run a couple errands.   I’ll spend time crafting Easter gifts, filming a little video for you, and just... being present.

Because a good dose of creativity really does fill my heart.

Here’s what I’m holding close:

🌿 You don’t have to rush.

🌿 Small changes create big shifts.

🌿 Your idea of “messy” might be someone else’s dream.

🌿 It’s okay to rest. It’s okay to bloom slowly.
