Whether you're passionate about paper crafting, junk journaling, or transforming everyday finds into art, I want every order from my shop to feel like a gift — a little spark of creativity wrapped just for you.

That’s why I’m so excited to introduce my Collector’s Card Program — a special thank-you for supporting my small, independent business and for being part of this beautiful, creative journey with me.

 What Are Collector’s Cards?

Every time you place a qualifying order at Steel Roots Market, you’ll receive a Collector’s Card — a small, thoughtfully crafted piece of art created by me.  Each card is a reflection of my creative journey — a space for me to explore new techniques and mediums while sharing a meaningful piece of that process with you.

Each one is a gift from my heart to yours. I personally curate every design using a variety of techniques and materials I love — from watercolor and hand-drawing, to mixed media, stamping, and digital collage. As I explore new skills and grow as an artist, the cards will evolve too.

Some months may feature hand-finished details or limited editions; others might include high-quality prints of original work. There’s no set formula — just bits of creative love in card form.

 Ways to Use Your Collector’s Card

I want these cards to bring joy, not just as collectibles, but as creative tools. Here are a few ways you can use them:

Tuck them into your junk journal or scrapbook

Use as a gift tag or in happy mail

Display them as seasonal or inspirational mini decor

Punch a hole and turn one into a bookmark

Keep as a memento from your order or as part of a card deck collection

There’s no wrong way to use them — just let your creativity guide you.

Some cards may include a small creative message or thought, and sometimes a QR code linking to a video, a printable, or a creative tip to enjoy.

 How It Works

Place an order of $50 or more from my shop

I’ll include one Collector’s Card in your package

Cards will change seasonally or with new releases - I plan on this being a creative process for me. One thing I am looking forward to and very excited to be able to work on.  It has been a long-time dream for myself to get to the point where I can spend more creative time in my space, and now it's here.

Collect 5 different cards, snap a photo, and email it to me  - I will make sure to share instructions in several spots and share several times so you can find it easily.

When I receive your photo, I’ll send you a special creative gift as a thank-you — it might be a mini DIY surface, surprise embellishment bundle, or another treat designed just for my most loyal supporters.

 Why I Created This Program

Steel Roots Market is just me — handcrafting kits, sourcing supplies, running my laser cutter, filming tutorials, packing orders, and dreaming up new ideas while tending to the many other tasks of my busy life.   I have my career, our little homestead where we enjoy growing and preserving food, my beautiful family & friends that I share my time with.   I’m driven by the idea of living slowly, purposefully, and creatively — and I want my shop to reflect that.                                                                                                                                I know that many of you are also balancing full lives — jobs, families, homesteads, creative passions — and I see you. That’s why I want this space to be a source of inspiration, encouragement, and connection as we grow as makers together.

I created the Collector’s Card Program as a personal way to say thank you for helping me grow this dream. These cards let me share more of my evolving creative practice with you — in small, joyful ways that invite you to play, decorate, or simply smile.
