An Invitation to Gather: Atelier Style Creative Supplies for Your Next Project
Share
There is a quiet shift that happens this time of year.
The light softens.
The studio tables feel ready again.
And the invitation to create becomes stronger than the noise of everything else.
If you’ve been waiting for the right moment to begin your next mixed media project, consider this your gentle nudge.
The studio shelves are full.
From laser cut MDF craft surfaces to Iron Orchid Designs moulds, vintage-inspired decoupage papers, Pentart finishes, and curated stencils — there is depth here. Texture. Dimension. Possibility.
This isn’t fast crafting.
This is atelier style creating — layered, intentional, and rooted in grace, creativity, and charm.
So I’ll say what I shared in yesterday’s video:
Grab a cup of coffee.
Take a few quiet moments.
Sit and browse.
You never quite know what you’ll discover.
Choose Your Creative Foundation
Every beautiful piece begins with a surface.
Inside the shop you’ll find laser cut MDF craft surfaces designed for dimensional embellishment and mixed media layering — frames, boxes, panels, and sculptural elements ready to become heirloom-style decor.
The small decor box featured in my recent YouTube video has quickly become a studio favorite — equally beautiful as a layered decor accent or a creative organizer for paper crafting and journaling supplies.
Additional box sizes and surfaces are available for those who love the structure and depth they bring to a project.
A strong foundation invites texture, mould work, decoupage, and finish. It anchors your creative vision before you even begin.
Add Architectural Detail with IOD Moulds & Transfers
Dimensional work transforms a flat surface into something sculptural.
The current Iron Orchid Designs moulds, transfers, and inlays available in the shop offer beautiful architectural details — florals, classical motifs, delicate embellishments, and layered textures that elevate mixed media wall decor and furniture accents.
Some designs from the mid-February release are still available, while others are now in selective or low stock. Many of the moulds and specialty pieces cannot be restocked once they sell through.
If there’s a design you’ve been considering, now is the moment to gather it.
IOD mould projects pair beautifully with MDF surfaces, rice papers, and metallic finishes — creating dimensional wall decor that feels collected rather than crafted.

Vintage-Inspired Decoupage & Curated Papers
Paper tells a story.
Within the collection, you’ll find vintage-inspired decoupage papers, Decoupage Queen, Roycycled designs, and curated rice papers — some from past releases that are no longer in circulation.
In certain lines, only two or three designs remain.
That is part of the charm.
You never quite know what you’ll find tucked into the paper collection — botanical motifs, European textures, antique ledger prints, or cottage florals waiting to become a layered background.
Decoupage paper for mixed media decor brings depth and narrative to surfaces, boxes, frames, and panels — especially when layered beneath mould work or finished with metallic wax and subtle patina.
Finish Beautifully: Pentart, Stencils & Textural Layers
The final layers are what bring tonal depth and quiet richness to a project.
Pentart texture pastes, metallic waxes, specialty finishes, add to decorative stencils are available to add dimension, shadow, and highlight.
A light metallic touch across raised mould details.
A subtle stencil layered into the background.
A textured paste to create architectural interest.
These are the finishing details that transform a project from decorative to heirloom.
Create slowly.
Finish beautifully.
