DIY Holiday Decor Using the IOD Gloria Paint Inlay

In this tutorial, I'm sharing a peaceful, vintage-inspired holiday DIY project using the IOD Gloria Paint Inlay, a versatile surface, and some creative finishing touches that make this a perfect gift or seasonal decor piece.

 Supplies Used in This DIY Project

For this project, I used the following materials—all available now in the

Steel Roots Market shop:

• IOD Paint Inlay – Gloria
  → Includes 8 unique 12x16 sheets featuring wreaths, holly, angels, and vintage holiday typography

• Rounded Rectangle Surface (FREE today with purchase of Gloria! Offer expires July 7, 2025.)

• Iod Moulds - Trimmings 3
• IOD air dry clay  - IOD Air Dry Clay

• Chalk-style or mineral paint in soft antique white, and a dark base color, I used charcoal by Miss Lillian No Wax Chock Paint.

• Crackle - 1 step by Pentart

• Mister bottle for inlay activation

• Matte top coat or spray sealer

• Gold paint -

• Optional: velvet ribbon, wax seal, gilding wax, small embellishments

 Ideas for Decorating & Gifting

This project makes a beautiful addition to:
