Rooted & Repurposed: Tin Can Makeover with IOD Transfers (Free Project Guide Inside!)
Share
Welcome to the very first edition of The Maker’s Table—a creative weekly from Steel Roots Market where we gather to share inspiration, celebrate slow creativity, and make something meaningful with what we already have.
This week’s featured project is a charming upcycled tin can makeover using the Ephemeral Melange IOD Transfer Pad, a touch of paint, and your own creative spark. Whether you turn it into a planter, a utensil holder, or a sweet gift container, this is one of those little transformations that brings everyday beauty into your space.
This Week's Project: Tin Can Planter Makeover
What started as a simple recycled can is now a lovely cottage-inspired piece, perfect for herbs, flowers, or small gifts. I added a few IOD transfer scraps to our mini garden stake surfaces for a bonus idea using the small labels from this amazing transfer pad—and I’ll show you exactly how inside the video! The video link is in the guide.
This project is easy to adapt, beginner-friendly, and a great way to explore the creative potential of your transfer stash.
