Sunday Reflections & Creative Rhythms | July at Steel Roots Market
Share
Hello friends,
Here at Steel Roots Market, July has arrived with a mix of paintbrushes, garlic scapes, and peaceful inspiration. I'm in the middle of repainting the studio space—walls and floors included—while prepping creative kits and carving out time for restful, rooted living. Between heavy summer rains and bursts of blooms, I've been reflecting on the quiet joy of creating even when the process feels a little messy.

From the Cottage Garden & Studio
This week we harvested our first garlic scapes, and in just a couple weeks the full garlic bulbs will be ready for drying. The peonies have faded for the season, but our roses have been bursting with color between the rainstorms.
Indoors, my studio is getting a refresh. I’m giving it a full repaint—floors and all—and while it’s made things a bit chaotic, it’s also inspired a creative reset. There’s something about making space for beauty, even in the midst of mess.
Free Printable Quote Card: Create with Grace, Even When It’s Messy
To celebrate that theme, I created a free printable for you to use in your journal, vision board, gift tags, or creative space. It’s a gentle reminder that grace is often found in the process—not the perfection.
