There’s a quiet kind of magic in slowing down. When the weekend arrives and the light filters softly through the windows, I find myself drawn back to my creative table — the one that always seems to hold a mix of half-finished ideas, paint smudges, and new inspiration waiting to unfold.
This weekend feels like the perfect mix of cozy and creative — finishing up small projects, rearranging my studio, and taking time to simply enjoy being home. We’re planting our garlic for next year’s harvest, working through a few fall tasks outdoors, and in between, I’ve been carving out moments in the studio to create and reset.
As I continue moving into my smaller creative space, I’m realizing how freeing it feels to simplify and surround myself with only what inspires me — my paints, journals, papers, and the tools I love most.
