Atelier Layered Frame Surface | Small-Batch MDF DIY Blank

A beautifully simple layered MDF surface designed for creative possibilities in the Cottage Atelier.

This three-piece surface features a classic framed shape with a removable center and layered frame detail—perfect for decoupage, painting, moulds and castings, mixed media, seasonal décor and more.

Each surface is cut in small batches in the Steel Roots Market studio and arrives unfinished, ready for you to make it completely your own.

Please note: This listing is for the unfinished MDF surface only. Finished project photos are shown for creative inspiration. Because these are cut in small batches, quantities may be limited.

Small-Batch Cutting + Processing

Steel Roots Market surfaces are created in small-batch quantities in my Cottage Atelier. Some surfaces may be cut especially for your order rather than sitting as mass-produced inventory.

Please allow approximately 3–5 business days for cutting, preparing and packaging your order before shipment.

Processing times are counted in business days only — Monday through Friday. Saturdays, Sundays and holidays are not included in processing time.

Once your order has been completed and packaged, you will receive shipping confirmation and tracking information when it is on its way.

If your surface is already cut and ready in the Atelier, I will always do my best to get it headed your way sooner.

Please note that laser-cut MDF may have slight variations, including naturally darkened edges from the cutting process. These are a normal part of the laser-cutting process and not considered defects.
